PORTUGAL ACQUIRES WX1™ NETWORK LICENSES, 12 February 2005

Navegaçao Aerea de Portugal, E.P., the air navigation division of the Portuguese CAA has once again selected Wx Systems award wining software. NAV EP has now got a multiple user license for 6 users.

Wx-Systems has become a standard tool in the automated design of instrument approach procedures under the PANS OPS guidelines. An increasing amount of civil and military air navigation service providers currently use our tools for their airspace design needs.

NAV Portugal’s main mission is to provide air traffic services in the flight information regions (FIR) under Portuguese responsibility, ensuring that national and international regulations are complied with in the best safety conditions, optimising capacities, and emphasizing efficiency while not neglecting environmental concerns.  To carry out its air traffic control mission fully NAV Portugal has a considerable amount of equipment and software, there included the WX1™ Series of Software and many technical installations in several points of mainland Portugal and the autonomous regions.

Wx Systems has now got a total of 9 Multi License Users.
