WX SYSTEMS TO LAUNCH NEW GEODETIC SUITE OF TOOLS, 13 July 2005

WX Systems today announced that it will be launching a new suite of independent tools and services aimed at the Geodetic Market in the coming months. The new WX GEO™ Series of Software is aimed at cartographers and airspace planners alike who need a greater level of detail in their work. The PC-based tools will be available from September 2005. Patrick Aisher, CEO of WX Systems stated: “Although there are some simple algorithms and basic geodetic functions within our main product, the WX1™ Series of Software, the WX GEO™ will incorporate a great deal more functionality and also work as a stand-alone, while allowing existing clients a very fluid transfer of data between the WX1™ and WX GEO™.
