Dear WX Systems Customer,
Firstly, we would like to wish you all a Happy New
Year for 2003.
We are pleased to inform you, as is customary at this time of year, of some of the developments we have undertaken in the last twelve months and some of the exciting projects we have in store for the year.
New name / new offices:
As you know, Wavionix Software Limited is now being operated from Switzerland under the new name of WX Systems, by the traditional team, and we are happy to tell you that many users are finding it easier to contact us and we are enjoying your views more than ever.
Still working for you:
Despite many rumours to the contrary, WX Systems
has not been sold! Despite various offers
from un-named US and European companies, no entity as yet has been able to
complete on its proposed offers, so we continue to operate with the same
shareholder and executive base as always. We have had our most profitable year
to date, which is demonstrated by the heavy investments we have incurred in the
forthcoming new release of the WX1™ Series of Software.
New Contracts:
Despite heavy competition from entities claiming to sell “Authorized” WPD Software (without our knowledge) and “Authorized Maintenance”, we have won various significant contracts in Belgium, the UK, Switzerland, Denmark, Egypt, Ukraine, and Ethiopia. We hope that this goes to prove once and for all that our clients (many of whom we have had for 8 years) know the difference!
Fake Software and Fake Maintenance/Training:
Various clients have advised us that they have been
offered unauthorised software/maintenance/training, and upgrades to the WPD
system. Whenever in doubt about the
authenticity of the services, please contact info@wx-systems.ch so we can investigate and, if required,
prosecute the perpetrators.
Support IAFPA:
As you may know, the best association available for
professional procedure design experts is the International Aeronautical Flight
Procedures Association, and is available online at www.iafpa.org.
New WX Systems Support Website:
Soon you will be able to download updates and ask
questions on the www.wx-support.ch
website, which will allow you to follow the significant developments that are
taking place in the WX1™ Series software.
Berne Convention on International Procedure Design – October 2003
In conjunction with IAFPA, we are
delighted to co-host the 2003 conference on International Procedure Design, in
Berne, Switzerland, in October 2003.
