WX SYSTEMS AND GE NETWORK SOLUTIONS PARTNER BID ON NORWEGIAN CONTRACT 01 September 2004.
In conjunction with GE Network Solutions Partner Smallworld Systems A/S, WX Systems has today submitted a bid to supply Avinor A/S the air navigation services provider for the state of Norway with a suite of GIS and PANS OPS products and services. Said WX Systems CEO, Patrick Aisher: "We sincerely hope that Avinor recognises our expertise in the field of both PANS OPS and GIS, in conjunction with Smallworld Systems A/S. Our tools are used in Sweden, Denmark, Eurocontrol, and nearly 70 other civil aviation authorities worldwide as the standard, and we are confident that Avinor should seriously consider our tried and tested, award-winning software." Lars Ihler, Sales Director of Smallworld, siad: "Customers are the center of GE’s universe: they define quality.
