INITIAL AGREEMENT REACHED TO ACQUIRE SOFTWARE DEVELOPED BY AVIPLAN AB OF SWEDEN 16 September 2004.
WX Systems announced today that it had received initial agreement from Aviplan AB shareholders to its proposal to acquire the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and worldwide distribution rights to the ReportHandler™. WX Systems hopes to launch the new, integrated, web-based system for incident reporting at airports under the WX ReportHandler™ name. The agreement requires approval by the WX Systems Board of Directors, which is expected to meet within the next month.
