WX SYSTEMS COMMENCES ACQUISITION DISCUSSIONS WITH AVIPLAN AB OF SWEDEN 12 August 2004
WX Systems has opened negotiations with AviPlan AB of Sweden, with a view to acquire the airport software development company, or distribution rights to its existing products. Meetings were held today in London between WX Systems Chairman Richard Reynolds and the President of AviPlan AB. WX Systems currently produces the WX1™ Series of Software for Air Navigation Procedures Design for civil and military aviation authorities, where it is the world market leader, and is keen to further establish it's credentials in the Airport software market.
